The Stories They Tell
Richmond is rich with history — from the days when indigenous people roamed our lands, to colonial settlements, to the revolutionary war, to the civil war, and to the struggles to attain civil rights. If you want American history, Richmond is the place to find it.
My contribution is to tell the stories of those who lived in lesser-appreciated historical homes and neighborhoods and were lesser-known themselves, but were a vital part of creating modern Richmond. Sometimes the neighborhood itself is the story.
